young at heart. Hansel & Gretel is adapted by P. Shane Mitchell & Dennis Cleary, the team that brought you that rollicking hit Rocking Red Riding Hood.

Cast List for The End: A One Act Showcase of Earth, Heaven & Hell
Wow! What a great audition. Many thanks to all who auditioned. This was a highly competitive audition and you were all fantastic. It is so great to know Anchorage has so many talented people.

With over 80 years of combined experience in youth arts education, our staff are the leaders in Performing Arts Education here in Anchorage. Led by Artistic Director Shane Mitchell, TBA staffers have more experience, more education and more fun! Under their mentorship students will be encouraged to explore the power theatre has to communicate ideas, inspire the imagination and bring people together. Comedy Improv!: June 23 - 27 * Mon - Fri * 9:30-3:30 * $135
A one week intensive in comedy improvisational performance at the TBA Studio. Comic Maestro Wayne Mitchell and guest artists will lead students in techniques made popular on such shows as Whose Line is it Anyway? Students will have the opportunity to show off their skills at the Friday Night Showcase on June 27.
Advanced Academy: July 1 - 26 * Mon - Fri * 9:30-3:30 * $395
For the experienced and serious teen actor. Advanced Academy students will train in an intensive performance program that allows them to find their artistic voices and develop their creative talents to their fullest potential. Each student will be cast in a show with two fully staged public performances at APU's newly renovated Grant Hall. Prerequisites must be met - email play@tbatheatre.org for more information.
Actors Academy: July 8 - August 3 * Mon - Fri * 9:30-3:30 * $395
A comprehensive program designed to help young people ages 8-18 develop theatre skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Academy members receive training in specialized areas of the performing arts including Acting, Stage Combat, Voice and Dance. Academy actors will each be cast in a show with two fully staged public performances at APU's newly renovated Grant Hall.
Tech Academy: July 1 - August 3 * Mon - Fri * 9:30-3:30 * $395
Train alongside working theatrical professionals! Learn to design, build, paint and the basics of scene shop safety. Academy technicians will have the opportunity to put their skills to work in fully staged public performances at APU's newly renovated Grant Hall.
Musical Theatre Magic!: Aug 4 - 8 * Mon - Fri * 9:30-3:30 * $135
It?s back! Our extremely popular Musical Theatre Intensive, once again directed by Anchorage?s most critically acclaimed musical theatre director - Erin Dagon Mitchell. A full week of singing, dancing and acting! Students will have the opportunity to show off their skills at the Friday Night Showcase on August 8.
Junior Academy-Storybook Theatre: July 8 - August 3 * T/W/R * 4:00-5:15 * $90
Innovative programming for our budding young artists aged 5 - 7. Students will learn the basics of theatre and creative play in a non-threatening environment developed by our elementary education and theatre professionals. The session will end with a short parent presentation on Saturday August 2 at APU.

Join TBA Theatre and the students of the Polaris K-12 School Physical Comedy Theatre Intensive as the Space Cadets take to the skies to battle the evil Zenob Omega, intergalactic space pirate!
This spaced-out comedy adventure is the result of a two week theatre intensive where students spend each school day in study of physical comedy theatre and the New Vaudeville style. With wacky antics, crazy costumes and a fun-filled soundtrack, this production is sure to delight the young and young at heart.
