Folk's Tales: Fairy Tales

Join Anchorage's favorite story-tellers and musicians in this wonderful show all about your favorite fairy tales!


The Burning
October 23-31 ~ School Shows: October 30
An original story of the witches of Salem.  Recommended for ages 10 and above or those who can handle a good scare.


The Weird Sister's Dreadful Disco Dance Party
October 24 at 3pm & 31 at 12pm ~ School Shows: October 28
The Weird Sisters may be stuck in the 70's, but their disco dance party has been the talk of Nightmare Hallow since 1472.  Get on your boogie shoes and join the fun in this brand new musical Halloween romp suited for all ages!


In the Key of Christmas
December 11-20 ~ School Shows: December 11
In the style of classic musicals like Summer Stock, Babes in Arms and White Christmas, the local theatre company might get their building taken away forever, but they have the opportunity to put on one last show for the holidays to raise enough money to keep their company and the heart of the town.  This hope filled musical is perfect for the holiday season.

The Wizard of Oz
March 25 - April 3 ~ School Show: April 1
Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams about Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and when a twister hits and carries off her house, she travels over the rainbow to the magical land of Oz, meeting friends and enemies, and all the while trying to get home.  Featuring the songs from the MGM musical movie, this show has something for everyone, from the young in age to the young at heart.

*This show will perform at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium on the UAA Campus

The Apple & the Arrow - A Legend of William Tell
May 6-15 ~ School Shows: May 6
Adventure awaits in the this thrilling tell of the life and times of William Tell.  Fun for the whole family!
